  1. The thing I feared about these remakes is finally coming true – its splitting the fanbase worse than they ever could have by continuing to take risks and innovate. For me, it started when RE3make was so shallow and hollowed out. I knew there was no way that if they did CV or 4 next, they're gonna leave stuff out. And they did. Then the Dead Rising "Deluxe Remaster" (deluxe my ass), and when it didn't get completely swept with bad reviews for how half assed it was, I knew we were in trouble lmao.

  2. I’m a little split on remakes and remasters, mainly because it often feels like a lack of creativity is the main issue. As someone who bought a PlayStation 5, it was disappointing to see that so many of the games are just re-releases of PlayStation 4 or even PlayStation 3 titles. It doesn’t feel like a true next generation of gaming in the same way it did growing up. The jump from PlayStation to PlayStation 2 felt enormous.

With that said, many remakes I’ve played are actually good, and they have the opportunity to fix issues the original had. I also don’t understand why people get upset when a remake is different isn’t that the point? As long as the original is still available and can run on the latest hardware, I don’t see a problem with both versions coexisting.

Unfortunately, a lot of older games are being delisted and replaced with the remakes/remasters and that's an issue.

  3. Crazy timing uploading this when I’m playing both og and remake at the same time. Remake feels like a downgrade to original in a lot of areas that piss me off a bit but still some good features they have that the original didn’t. Original was so perfect it was dumb to remake it. Why remake perfection if it was never flawed. Only code Veronica justifies a remake this didn’t need to happen.

  4. RE4:
    Himbo guy, cheese lines
    But pure at heart
RE4R: emo stoic baby pretty looking face angsty with life and all
People be like "nooo re2 got him traumatize"
    But is quite the oposite
Yea he felt Bad about it but move on
He was on the peak of his youth and Best moment at life
    Operation Javier
    RE4
It's until the path and before and after RE6 he is getting kind of affected and YES
Makes more sense to him to be more depressed

  5. Even when faced with clear evidence of the remake being inferior, people still refuse to admit they just have bad taste and like a worse version of RE4. This is why Crimson Desert, a game that’s literally just Temu Ubisoft slop, is breaking records and selling like crazy right now. Mainstream gaming is dead. Thankfully indie games are doing pretty well and only getting better so there’s at least some hope ❤

  6. pls make a reaction of Bawk's reaction on this video and pls destroy him the stupid takes he made there if you just hear his way of argumenting and how he builds logic
i unsubed from him and subed to you because i can feel, see, hear that you use brain instead of rot

  7. Redditors in absolute shambles right now.
The circle-jerking and back-patting on the main subs is reaching critical levels yet it doesn't seem to be enough to out do the butt-hurt damage.
Oh my hecking science, by Thanos, what now… Perhaps a new funko pop or two, to help forget?

  8. The movement being a
Sluggish is even worse in re9. Because it accepted A and E as full right and left movements Leon was constantly stutter stepping as I was making micro adjustments to my forward walking path.

  9. He makes some good points here and there, but I mean what he and other viewers fail to realize is the title itself lol. It's a remake, not a remaster. It's not a full reimagining, but rather they are gonna do modern or brainstormed changes, i.e. the combat and layout changes. Ofc some changes hit better or worse. But it seems a lot of you guys thought it would be a full remaster instead of a remake like dead rising deluxe remaster (ignoring the issues with that).

Plus, even though og re4 is better, I mean it's a masterpiece, the remake is still pretty dang great. And both offer a very similar but different experience that's makes me and a lot of people replay both of them, just cause it ain't as good as re4, doesn't mean it's a trash game. Again I find both worth playing, sometimes even back to back lol.

And yeah, remake devs didn't put the same amount of effort as the og team, or they reused assets, but just since they didn't put in the same amount of effort doesn't meant they didn't put in effort. You can still tell they cared about making the game, took feedback from re3 remake, and put in work, not that's "they are lazy and made slop". Heck, Yakuza has been reusing assets since 3 on the ps3 and yet them games are bangers.

Essentially, y'all are fine to prefer a version of the game. But that doesn't mean we have to discredit how good the other version is. Sorry, but I'm a veteran re fan and I appreciate both for what they offer.
