Hello and welcome back to The Schapera Show where Vivian and Neil explore this big adventure called life.

This is a part of the show where I, Vivian, speak to and about crystals.

Our crystal guest today is Danburite.

Danburite comes in two colors pink and yellow and it also comes together with calcite and I will touch on all three of these in this conversation.

Danburite is the stone of self.

Before I say another word I want to share with you that I have a gem cut stone that I wear around my neck continuously and it is Danburite.

Obviously if I wear it every day it goes without saying that it is special to me but I have a story that explains just how special it is.

One day when I was gardening I decided time to go inside I’ve had enough.

No not yet a voice inside my head said I felt grumbly about that because I was tired.

I listlessly continued and then saw something lying in the mulch and I thought what’s that?

I poked at it and it kind of came up through the mulch and oh my gosh it was my Danburite stone upside down almost completely buried.

I would never have found it again if I hadn’t just lingered an extra few minutes there in that exact spot.

I can’t even begin to explain the sense of relief that I did not lose my precious gem.

I would have been mortified.

To understand the full impact of Danburite I will begin by saying that I used pink Danburite in a trilogy with Kunzite and Morganite and the three together are like a panel of heart experts.

Kunzite is able to strengthen the heart at every chakra layer from physical to spiritual.

Morganite softens the heart’s defenses allowing it to receive incoming love which let me tell you that’s a very important dynamic in case you didn’t realize.

Danburite has an entirely different effect.

I’ll tell you what Melody says about Danburite.

The pink colored Danburite has been used to activate the heart chakra and to bring self-love to the user.

It has also assisted in furthering relationships of love within the family providing support for one on the overcoming of old hostilities and/or separations which have occurred due to misunderstandings and miscommunications.

Okay so who doesn’t need that is what I might ask and you know that just speaks to the power of Danburite.

I think it’s unique in that action.

I haven’t discovered another heart stone that does what Danburite does.

So I can tell you that what I used Danburite for was to become my own best friend and I can safely say that it was one of the smartest things I have ever done.

You know if you fight with yourself you are bound to lose.

If you befriend yourself well that changes everything.

I estimate that it has been about 15 years since I acquired the Danburite gem and it directly transformed my relationship with myself and indirectly transformed my relationship with everyone else.

You probably remember that my academic training is in psychology and I will say that I’m trained to observe and make sense of human behavior and I’m not bad at it.

I’ll just give myself a little self-promotion there.

One thing I have repeatedly noticed is that the way people treat others is an accurate reflection of how they are treating themselves.

By learning to be kinder, more patient, more forgiving, more generous with myself I also learned how to be that way with others.

If you haven’t got something you cannot pass it on.

It’s a simple formula.

Now there’s also yellow Danburite and yellow Danburite does not come in a crest or form like pink Danburite but in masses and you look at a yellow Danburite and a pink Danburite together and it’s hard to tell why they have the same name.

Their shape is completely different and their color is completely different but their underlying crystal structure is essentially identical and the difference comes from tiny amounts of other elements that were present while the crystal was growing.

You know it’s hard for me to believe this.

If you see a yellow Danburite and a pink Danburite next to each other you’ll understand why I’m saying this.

Anyway pink Danburite is generally associated with trace amounts of manganese while yellow Danburite appears to derive its color from iron and related trace element chemistry.

And mineralogists, mineralogists, I can’t say it, mineralogists, you know the people that look at minerals see this phenomenon repeatedly in nature.

Emerald and aquamarine are both forms of beryl while ruby and sapphire are both forms of corundum.

Basic architecture remains the same but small chemical differences produce dramatically different colors and sometimes noticeably different qualities as well.

I’ll tell you emerald’s a barrel but it doesn’t form the same way as the other barrels form and that’s one of the differences between minerals that may have the same name or be in the same family but they can form under different conditions and then they form differently.

So yellow stones are hard to come by and yellow Danburite is a startlingly excellent yellow and I treasure my yellow Danburite pieces just as much as I treasure my Danburite gem and my pink Danburite crystals.

The fat intense yellow Danburite illuminates the solar plexus chakra in an intense and constructive manner.

That’s your relationship with yourself and your will.

That’s what yellow Danburite is is tuning into and it’s as the stone of self it has a winning combination.

If you want to strengthen your self-control, your self-discipline, your self-worth, your self-esteem then yellow Danburite is the stone to choose.

I’ll tell you what we do in crystal surgery.

In crystal surgery we use pink Danburite with calcite for a truly wonderful procedure called clearing emotional blockages which I referenced previously when I was talking about Aegirine because that’s the other mineral that you use in this procedure and I think I should just quote directly from my own book.

Clearing emotional blockages synergizes the properties of Aegerine a stone that removes emotional blockages and Danburite the stone of self-love to create a singular effect in clearing emotional blockages from the energy field.

The best Danburite tool to use is one that has calcite growing on it where the calcite has formed an active point.

Imbued with the Danburite vibration this calcite is particularly effective in scraping and clearing the crusts of emotional debris that collect in the energy field.

When I ask Danburite what message it has for you today it says “Vivian by telling your story you have basically said it all the only thing that I want to add is that I can’t elicit self-love if someone else is trying to do it for you like a technique in a session.

I activate when you use me for yourself in other words your conscious engagement is key to unlocking that particular property.

I do have other properties that can be engaged by a crystal healing sequence but not the particular property of self-love.

Now that doesn’t mean it’s difficult or complicated it just means you make the choice you initiate you take responsibility you make it happen.

Vivian wears Danburite around her neck you can just put a piece of Danburite in your pocket and as you do so consciously remember why you are doing this and what it is for.

This is for loving myself there just like that nice and easy conscious engagement.
